Xu Yang, President of Danfoss China, met with leaders of Suzhou Industrial Park

On October 30, Xu Yang, President of Danfoss China, met with Wu Qingwen, a member of the Standing Committee of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Suzhou Industrial Park, and conducted friendly and in-depth exchanges to further promote the steady development of Danfoss in Suzhou.

During the meeting, President Xu Yang briefed Secretary Wu and other park leaders on Danfoss China's second home market strategy and Danfoss' global leadership in power generation, automation and energy efficiency improvement.


He said: "Suzhou has always occupied an important position in Danfoss China's business layout. We are very grateful to the park leaders for their strong support and help over the years. This trip to Suzhou has made me a lot of gains, especially the park is livable I am deeply impressed by the environment and the importance of intellectual property protection. In the future, we hope to increase communication with the park, explore more cooperation opportunities, and promote the sustainable and stable development of Danfoss in Suzhou. And the green development contribution of Suzhou is modest."

Secretary Wu warmly welcomed President Xu Yang and his entourage. During the meeting, he clearly introduced the park's effective measures in protecting intellectual property rights and attracting talents. Secretary Wu said: "Danfoss's areas of focus, advanced technology, and environmental protection concepts are highly compatible with the development direction of the park. He hopes that Danfoss will seize the opportunity, increase the layout, and bring more innovative technologies to the park, and open and inclusive in the park. China will continue to expand the Chinese market. The park will also provide a first-class business environment and pro-business services to help companies further develop and grow."

In 2014, Danfoss acquired another global giant Weiken in the field of inverter drive. Weiken (China) Electric Transmission Co., Ltd. in Suzhou Industrial Park was merged into Danfoss. In 2018, Danfoss established the Danfoss Marine and Offshore Application Technology Center in the Suzhou Industrial Park, which is mainly responsible for the transmission center technology center and Danfoss China’s sales functions in Suzhou and Jiangsu Province. In September of this year, Danfoss successfully held the Ship and Offshore Industry Application Conference in Suzhou. More than 140 leaders and industry experts from mainstream well-known shipowners, shipyards and classification societies across the country were invited to Suzhou to discuss and share the industry. In 2020, Danfoss is expected to establish a technical support and experience center for new products in Suzhou.
